To produce CaCO3 color, what kind of color powder should be used?

CaCO3 color always need color powder to make products with different colors and it is also considered one of the important materials in the production of CaCO3 color. Color powder have many different forms, but mostly in the form of powder or water - depending on the needs of the manufacturer that they will choose which types and colors match their products.

How to define CaCO3 color organic and CaCO3 color inorganic?

CaCO3 color made from inorganic powder is usually derived from minerals, so its color is very natural. Inorganic powder used for make colors including white, black and other popular shades. People often make CaCO3 color from inorganic pigments because of their heat resistance, unaffected by light, .... And since the colors of these types are so natural, otherwise, the weakness of this kind of powder is that it release the color not very fresh and outstanding.

The characteristic of CaCO3 color made from organic colors including high temperature stability, slightly toxicity but are resistant to alkali and contain good acids. Each organic color will have different structures so when it comes to light, its resistance is very poor, not only that, they are also weak in term of weather resistance and solvent resistance.

What common types of colors powder for producing CaCO3 color?

  • Fluorescent color: With the ability to change colors into visible shade due to the high level of light reflection, this color has very brilliant and slightly dazzling shades. People are warned when using this color type because of its poor solvent resistance, low light resistance. Also, if we using a huge amount of fluorescent color, this will definitely create bad substances that not good for the health of producers.
  • Metallic color: this type made from aluminum flakes with smooth dispersion, often used with plastic and liquid chemicals because if left dry, it tends to explode. When making CaCo3 color, sliding forces should be minimized to avoid breakage or deformation of the finished product.
