NATIONAL FISHERIES AUTHORITY
NAGO ISLAND HATCHERY PROJECT
(ADB LOAN No. 1925 SF - PNG)

Under a loan agreement with the Asian Development Bank, the National Fisheries Authority invites bids from suitably qualified contractors to undertake the construction of an aquaculture and marine resource research facility on Nago Island in Kavieng Harbour, New Ireland Province.

The project requires procurement, construction and commissioning of facilities as follows:
1. Main building – open sided covered shed
2. Prefabricated insulated laboratory building (constructed inside the main shed)
3. Pump house, sea water intake and discharge system
4. Aquaculture tanks, water and air reticulation systems
5. Office building
6. Accommodation building
7. Ablutions building
8. Elevated water storage tank and reticulation
9. Water and sewerage reticulation and sewerage treatment
10. Generator and electrical reticulation
11. Workshop building and dive storage shed
