National Fisheries Authority (NFA) wishes to advice the general public, but more so the fishermen in the maritime provinces, that there are increasing number of illegal buyers operating in the province buying and trading marine products such as beche-de-mer, trochus shell, gold lip and black lip without license. This has caused illegal movement of marine products between provinces and more seriously these products are not accounted for, in respect to monitoring of the fishery through allocated Total Allowable Catch (TAC) by provinces and thus compromise the sustainability of these marine resources.

For information purpose, we have herewith names of licensed operator in each province. This list will be revised and published every six months.
