The National Fisheries Authority (NFA) is seeking expressions
of interest from the Gulf of Papua Prawn Operators on the use of
a prawn vessel that it may use to carry out a biological prawn survey
in the Gulf of Papua Prawn Fishery. The survey will be conducted
in March for 15 days. The vessel must be suitable for the survey
and should meet NFA’s requirement for the survey.

The Expressions of interest are to be addressed to : Expression
of Interest – Gulf of Papua Prawn Fishery, Attention: Fisheries
Advisor, Fisheries Management, National Fisheries Authority, P.O.
Box 2016, Port Moresby, National Capital District or hand deliver
to the 11th Floor Deloittes Tower Douglas Street, Port Moresby.
The Expression of Interest should include a summary of the operational
cost for the 15 days.
Submissions of the Expression of Interest will close on 14th February
2005. Interests after that date will not be accepted.
The applicant that best meets NFA’s requirements will be
notified.
