21 Mar 05 - Invitations for Expressions of Interest

The National Fisheries Authority is seeking expressions of interest for the purchase of Sumber REJEKI a 16.4metre wooden vessel, with 2 x Engines, 1 x Yanmar 22HP and 1 x 22 horsepower Kubota Engine and other items. The boat is currently berthed at Madang Provincial Fisheries Wharf in Madang. The sale would be on an “as is where is” basis.

Prospective parties should note that the vessel, equipment and other items were the subject of legal proceedings, and will be sold as a package. Only offers for all the equipment, together with the vessel will be accepted.

Expressions of interest are to be addressed in a sealed envelope or sent by facsimile to The Chairman; National Fsiheries Authority Tenders Board, P.O. Box 2016, Port Moresby, National Capital District on 3203024 and must include a bank reference or similar evidence that the offer is in a position to make immediate payment.

Expressions of interest close at 5pm on 18 March 2005. Offers after that date will not be accepted.

The highest bid may not necessarily be accepted.
